Bride of the Zar" - Album of the Year in the UK
Following acclaimed reviews in the European press, Rango’s debut album “Bride of the Zar” has been selected as of the 10 best albums of 2010 in the respected London-based Songlines magazine, edited by Simon Broughton of “Rough Guide to World to World Music”.

Summer 2010 saw the group undertake a month-long tour of the UK performing a prestigious venues and festivals including the Liverpool Arabic Arts festival, The London Royal Opera House and WOMAD Charlton Park which culminated in the group gracing the front cover of the UK’s “Observer” newspaper, before appearing alongside the Wu Tang Clang and Paul Weller at the “Way Out West” Festival in Sweden.
Rango will be taking their Sudani vibes to the Far East with upcoming performances at the WOMAD Australia and New Zealand during March 2011 coinciding with the release of their “Bride of the Zar” album worldwide.
