El Mastaba founded three schools, "Young Tanbura" in Port Said city 2003, "Young Hinna" in Suez city 2004 and “Young Jerrycan” in El Arish city 2012, for teaching children the folk music and traditional dance of their local communities, also, to encourage the future generation to value and maintain their rich cultural legacy.
The children are being taught to play popular instruments and rhythms, as they learn, keep and perform popular songs and dances. Students range from the age of 6 to16 years old.
The young bands have performed in their local communities, as well as in governmental schools and various locations throughout the country to introduce their musical heritage to other Egyptian children. A cheering album of “Young Tanbura” and “Young Hinna” was produced by El Mastaba Center in 2008 under the title of “Arouset El Bahr” (The Mermaid);.
